009: Donald Trump’s network marketing recruiting lessons & my prediction for his Presidential Campaign…

I know you are asking what I am up to with this Donald trump network marketing recruiting thing. Well, chances are you never knew he was involved in one shape or form with the profession.

Well, he was until lately when his presidential campaign had to denounce all ties. LOL.. hahahaaa

Donald Trump absolutely endorsed the network marketing company that I first got involved with. He actually did numerous times on national TV network; NBC to be precise.

He was a keynote speaker at the company national event numerous times and they used his name to sell the tickets. I saw him speak once in Charlotte NC and I loved it. In fact, this was my favorite network marketing quote from Donald Trump.

Imagine a cousin just detecting that you got sold on something you don’t truly believe in. If they care for your feelings, they stop picking up the phone for a while–like 6 months.

If they don’t care, you probably got told in your face.

“I can’t believe you joined a scam.” Not pretty right…

When you fall in love with whatever you are selling, people at the minimum believe you and respect that. It shows in your invitation and presentation.

Also, you will never feel the need to beg people to join you. All you really feel authentically with each “NO” or rejection received is…

You become very quick to move on and find new leads and prospects like a PRO–like a professional.

2nd Donald Trump Network Marketing Recruiting Lesson

There was a company once upon a time called Trump Network dealing in health and fitness products through the network marketing distribution model. In fact, the company existed as Ideal Health since 1997 before renaming the company to the Trump Network in 2009.

Donald Trump was named the Chairman in a publication when in reality the company was founded by 3 other guys. In 2012, that whole partnership arrangement was dismantled because the company could not afford to keep paying the royalty fee for using Trump’s brand.

Here goes the lessons…

The company’s partnership relationship with the Donald was strictly based on the use of the Trump brand for an hyper-growth. Hyper-growths are great. However, they are even more useless if there are no sustainability.

Donald Trump has managed to make so much money, millions of dollars, from the network marketing profession without necessarily being your average network marketing rep.

3.) Branding – If I were to start all over again, this is where all my energy would go; building a brand, credibility and authority by planting seeds of massive value into other people’s lives.

After lots of trial and error, most of the money I’ve personally made in network marketing came from my personally built brand. Clearly Donald Trump has done the same thing.

But … I am proof that you don’t have to be a Donald Trump. You can absolutely build it from scratch.

4.) Partnership – When you build a brand with authority, you can create a controllable partnership with any company you like and create instant success.

A friend of mine was part of a company that shut down in 2010. Within 30 minutes of the news breaking, he became a top earner in another company entirely. How? He had a brand and followers that know, like, trust and respect his moves… and they actually follow.

Either you know it or not, your relationship with any network marketing company is just a partnership and I use that word very lightly.  It’s more of an independent contractor relationship.

5.) Sustainability – Building your personal leadership brand consistently is the only route to sustainable profitability in your business. Everything else is temporary.

Yea right…

That’s a TV answer. Let me help him give you the real answer. He is Donald the Trump. That name can never go broke even if they seize all his cash and shut his account off.

In fact, that kind of ‘news breaking’ will only increase the value of that name. Can you imagine a Donald Trump calling a few people to a new business opportunity presentation? What do you think will happen?

Last 2 Network Marketing Recruiting Lessons from the Donald.

At press time, we are in the middle of a roaring presidential campaign in the United States headlined by the one and only Donald the Trump. To say the least, it has been quite an interesting thing to watch his performance.

Besides denouncing the whole network marketing profession during this campaign, there were some interesting moves that he made that absolutely disrupted what we all knew to be the United States presidential primary campaign or elections.

I think we all can learn a thing or 2 about recruiting more people into the network marketing business from it.

Mind you, I do not have any political opinions about his campaign for you. I will keep that to myself. However, I do have a strong opinion about where his performance in the campaign is heading and I am willing to admit it if I happen to be wrong.

Let me throw it out now…

He is going to be nominated by the republican party but there is a BIG GATE that I don’t he can get past. We all call it social media… some don’t even know that’s the mainstream yet.

In traditional network marketing recruiting, you were supposed to put on a front and disregard the nature of your previous relationship with the prospect–using scripts. If you’ve done that, how is that working out?

Probably not so good…

Well, one thing we can all agree to is that Donald threw all political correctness out the window right from his first speech in which he announced that he would be running for presidency.

I am not talking about the right or wrong aspect of the whole thing.

I do think that people, at the time, found it subconsciously refreshing and interesting that someone actually spoke their mind without putting on a front.

It’s been proven with all types of polls since then. He’s winning. You might as well call the whole thing the Donald Trump primary presidential campaign. His name is all you see in the headlines.

What does this mean for you and your network marketing recruiting endeavors? 2 ADDED LESSONS!

6. You have to be real and authentic.

7. You have to balance it with mass communication skills This is something that Mr.Trump is struggling with.

It’s not what you say in life and business. It’s how you say it. That’s not the same thing as “putting up a front.” It’s leadership skills.

That’s why, in my opinion, Donald Trump will not get past social media and mainstream. He is not going to win the presidency at that level and that’s my prediction.

If this was his private business, he’d keep winning because public opinion would be irrelevant. So far, he is winning because he stands for something.

He has a winning business brand but public opinion is playing a limited role hence why he is winning in the primaries.

When you build a brand, it’s a force. There are more than enough prospects that will join you because they can’t beat you. Joining is the only feasible option for them.

I am in no way condoning bullying anyone and I am not saying Donald Trump is a bully.

All I am saying is that your biggest profit potential is in building an authority that people respect in your niche that’s big enough to create all different types of opinion, followers, haters, lovers…

…and recruiting 20 – 30 reps into your business monthly becomes inevitable.
