In this edition, I explain how to use the bait, hook, line and fishing in wholesaling houses almost effortlessly.
When it comes to marketing your product, services and offers, you want to be fishing. You are putting valuable information out there first and then you can work with those who respond to it.
When you are fishing, there is a process. It starts with offering the fish some bait on the hook first, then you are to be able to catch them ALIVE.
When you catch them alive, you are now able to see if the fish fits what you are trying to offer which is obviously a HABITAT inside your stomach? LOL.
If they are not good enough, you throw them back into the water alive. At least, you did not kill the fish pointlessly.
In real estate wholesaling, you are seeking 2 different types of prospects.
Let’s use the first type as an example here; motivated sellers. You are seeking motivated seller with a distressed property. What’s the bait here?
What information would a motivated seller with a distressed real estate property be dying to gain access to?
It could be information on how to sell a house fast or information on how to avoid foreclosure or many other information you think this type of person should have.
You need to be the first one in line publishing and offering this information for free. This information include answers to their biggest questions and path to solution of the underlying problem that turned your prospect to a desperate seller.
This published information is the bait that will attract clients who are well educated about a possible path and why you are the right person for them to work with or sell their house to at 50 – 60 cents on the dollar.
QUESTION – “Hi OLA? I launched my business about 10 months ago or so I thought. I haven’t closed my first deal yet and I am getting tired.
I send out about 100 letters every week but the calls I am getting are crappy. These are mostly people that seems to be not serious about selling the house.
I brought this up on another channel and someone answered my comment that I should call back and follow up every week. Honestly, the conversation just get worse. I even got cursed out.
I know that I need leads. Do you have a suggested source of quality leads? I just feel like I am talking to the wrong people. Thanks for your videos.”
