Not too long ago, I wrote an article about how no one is looking for a real estate wholesaler.
I personally wholesale lots of properties, but how come I don’t want wholesalers calling my phone lines
Unless to ask about coaching of course?
But Wait…I will tell you why.
Good business is about value but we have to be careful when we use that word “value”.
Value is like beauty; which is in the eyes of the beholder.
So value is in the eyes of the recipient.
An inexperienced real estate wholesaler has a tendency to define what value is for the recipients.
That’s bad business.
And they do it with sellers, buyers and they also do it…
With their fellow real estate wholesalers.
With sellers, they say things like…
“I’m just trying to help you .”
But “what’s the problem with that?”
The problem is the act of saying it rather than actually helping the seller.
And with fellow real estate wholesalers, they call the numbers on their bandit signs and ads to ask if they can JV
…without actually having a prequalified buyer who is interested.
So here is news flash; That gets very annoying already to that person.
Just because you have an intention to help or bring value doesn’t mean that you are helping or bringing value.
But Everyone loves value; only if it’s real value.
Remember that value is in the eyes of the recipient; not the giver.
Instead of being a nuisance to another fellow real estate wholesaler,
Call them only when you have prequalified a buyer prospect for a specific property.
Therefore don’t call to express your great intentions; everyone else already does that.
And if you have that kind of real value, you are automatically not another wholesaler, you are a player.
So to be a player, you have to have a daily leads generation pipeline that is attracting quality buyer leads daily.
If you do, there will be no cause to be salty about other real estate wholesalers who are simply protecting their time.

BUT that right there is the difference between many people in this field.

The author does an excellent job of cutting through much of the real estate wholesaling BS that is prevalent in the market. That is to say while most gurus are teaching what they DO NOT DO, Ola outlines steps of creating value at the center of your marketing. His down to earth delivery just makes sense. He speaks of leveraging technology, the importance of multiple income streams, and an overview of the real estate wholesaling business in the new age of business marketing. For example, he mentions that many people don't even like their family members stopping by unannounced, so how can you expect them to be ultra receptive to a stranger popping up looking to capitalize on a misfortune. Of course that's not how the "Door Knocking" conversation would be framed, but that's exactly what it is. All in all I enjoyed the read and if you plan on making action your focus, you will too.

A real estate wholesaler is person who locks a property under contract at a price less than its current market for the purpose of making profit when assigned to an investor who will add value to it and resell
How do you become a real estate wholesaler?
There are no licensing involved in most states in order to become a real estate wholesaler but it’s best to invest in marketing training.
How much do real estate wholesalers make?
It depends but particularly on how much of marketing and how skillful the wholesaler is as a marketer in a digital age.
A skillful wholesaler should be making no less than double 6 figures income once up and running with momentum.
Keep in mind; it is entrepreneurship. There is probably not going to be any paycheck next Friday as of yet.
Is wholesale real estate worth it?
Wholesale Real estate is worth it and all the effort if you understand that it’s about your marketing skills.
If you fall short on that, it can be frustrating and like 98% of the people who try, you will quit.
