I know you’ve been presented with scripts for everything: including recruiting anything and anyone.

You want doctors, lawyers, achievers, accountants, CEO’s and more in your downline? Of course… These are proven leaders in their existing life but… hmmm… ANYWAY.

Recruiting today’s professional into your network marketing business requires skills my friend.

Scripts are… exactly.. scripts.

This is real and not a movie.

Not only do you want to recruit and sponsor professionals. You also want to plug them through the right path in order to increase their value in your team–DUPLICATION.

Unfortunately or fortunately, you have to get above the whole scripted network marketing prospecting thing. For a while now, I’ve been telling you on this channel that:

Somethings just don’t change. In my very humble opinion, the biggest of them all is “leadership”. Leadership ain’t going no where. In fact we need it more than ever before.

This is another reason why I feel like the industry needs a revamp. We need leaders that pay attention to evolution of people in general, especially with respect to technology. The only thing that’s constant is change.

So in this episode, I want to share:

3 better ways to recruiting professionals into your network marketing business.

They may not be brand new ideas to you, but I promise it will be a great reminder of things you should focus on in your business–and may be a new perspective to it.

1. Marketing

In network marketing, there are 2 words. ‘Network‘ and ‘Marketing‘.

Listen carefully.

Sales is the highest paid profession in the world. But you need people to sell to and marketing is how we find these people. Don’t complicate it–that’s the definition of marketing.

Therefore I can make a bold claim that marketing is somewhere around the highest paid professions (top 1%) in the worlds. Why not? After all, there is no one without the other.

You know the coolest part about this. It’s a skill and any one can learn it. It’s not rocket science and even 5th grader can learn the theory. The hard part is mastering its execution and consistency.

Marketing to different classes of people does require a slight change in vocabulary. A guiding script can be useful in understanding the difference. However, script does not replace marketing.

In fact, I’d rather you become a student of copy writing (the art and science of using written words to sell) than collect useless one dimensional scripts. As you probably know, nothing is one dimensional in life.

The first step in using marketing for recruiting professionals into your network marketing business is marketing.

As a newbie in the business, you can let all the professionals in your existing circle of influence in on what you are up to. That’s okay. But I wouldn’t use a script.

I’d just share the information with them using the same style of communication that conformed with my previous relationship with that person. That’s better than a script. It’s exposure and the exact definition of marketing.

Have you heard the saying…

“…you can’t say the right thing to the wrong person and you can’t say the wrong thing to the wrong person.”

Scripts are only going to make you look like you got sold on spammy and scammy stuff. Sharing it with your existing swag will bring out the confidence that all entrepreneurs must have. Swag increase sales and recruiting.

Scripts are for amateurs.

2. Attraction

If you are a student of success, you probably know how powerful attraction is in your business. If you don’t know, here we go.

Ladies… Recruiting professionals into your network marketing business is very similar to the desire to date the most handsome, popular and swagged out guy in your 11th grade class.

That was only going to happen with ‘attraction’. Do you remember?

I am not a dating expert but I had my fair share. I knew at some point that being the nicest guy in the class was not a great idea of “attracting the most beautiful girl in class.” There was more to it.

In fact, I had to tone down the nice thing since I am naturally nice right?

When you approach a professional with a script all crammed out, they can smell it. All they want to do is get away from you. However, there are times when the prospect is simply someone in your life.

Again, in that case, there would no need for scripts at all. Just simply say:

“John, let me share what I am up to with you, got a minute?”

“Suze, I want to share my newest project with you. I’m excited about it. Got a few minutes?”

reading  mlm script…as opposed to: “Are you open to making money outside of what you do?”

LOL, I’m sorry that sounds wack, like a robot or a person trying to get me into a scam already.

No one likes the scripts. Even network marketers like you know that you hate the scripts. Guess what, your prospects hate them too–especially the professionals. Don’t do it.

Master attraction and you can use it to attract whatever you want in your life and business all day long. There is a science to it and we do cover it extensively in our Attraction Mastery Coaching.

3. Authority

I guess some people are born natural with it but I’m not concerned about that. I want to show you how to build it from scratch.

When you have an encounter with authority, you know it, you are shaking, you can’t stand it but you want to be a part of it. Weird right?

Imagine your brand as a leader. Imagine walking into a room and every one goes quiet instantly. They know who you are.

What happens is that, even the professionals in the room want some of that. They do either they know it or not.

You see… they are professionals for a reason. They were the people that join the most prestigious group in college. This has always been their behavior.

So when you have authority as a branded leader that everyone recognizes, do you think professionals wants to be involved with you?

I’ll wait…

Let me answer that for you… yes they will be all over you and that goes back to attraction.

Are people born natural with it?

Yes, I’ve seen kids under 10 years old walk into a room and command authority with just personality. But… ‘depending on that’ is a path to failure. You are better off mastering it as a skill.

The goal is to be better than the “born naturals.” Here is my attitude. I don’t care if I was born natural or not. I will learn and master it. Make sense?

When you build authority, you will observe it growing in real numbers. That will boost your confidence because we all love seeing our handy work in real time progress.

Your confidence will show up as authority as perceived by prospects. You will then attract quality business partners and professionals into your network marketing business almost effortlessly.
