5 Simple Steps to Deploying a Profitable Network Marketing Campaign in the Digital Age.

It’s very simple.

I am revealing my personal step-step-step deployment checklist to you here.  TAKE NOTE.

.. and NOTE that I like setting it up backwards in order to ensure not missing anything.

checklist1. A Digitally Deliverable Information Product

As a network marketer in the digital age, you need to have a layer of information marketing on top of what you do.

So make sure you have an information product in a deliverable form in place.  This is not just for internet network marketers.

Every business needs to have an information product in place.  To prove that to you, here is an example of a car wash business.

You may say, “Ola, how can a car wash market with an info-product?   Don’t you need the car brought in to wash?”

Good question.

It’s all about having a high perceived value in front of your prospective customer where they are.  That means even when they have not brought the car in.

What if, as a car wash business owner, I offered a downloadable e-book on tips for car self clean at home?

You may say, “what’s the point if I want them to bring the car in?”

The point is that people still want to go to car wash anyway but that type of marketing layer on the business makes my car wash the best choice in the area.

Remember that people always want to associate themselves with the best, even for such services.  Well the perceived value of a brand with valuable pieces out there is simply higher.

As for me, my 2 boys drop dirty things in my car everyday but I only wash the car once a week.

“How to keep the car super clean in spite of baby dirts”

…would a tip that people like me would appreciate from a cash wash brand in that respect.

Let’s bring it back to network  marketing.

If you want to build a rock solid network marketing empire and not just a downline in the digital age, your campaigns need to add value to the market place first.

pre-qualifyIt also helps you pre-qualify your prospect before joining your downline.  People that don’t have measures in place to prequalify a prospect always end up with quitters.  This is a fact.

This method will attract the best prospects to your organization.  It’s very simple.  All the top earners are doing it.  Why won’t you model success?

2.  A Way to Collect Money. (An order form)

Some people complicate this.  We have merchants and big time guru credit card processors.

But the easiest way to get started is PayPal.  PayPal will give you a little button that can be added to any webpage.

So don’t accept any excuse from yourself that this is complicated.  It’s not.  Getting out of self-sabotage is complicated.

So that’s the 4th thing to have in place; an order form that your prospect can complete in exchange for the digitally deliverable information product that you created in step 1.

3. A Sales Presentation

We call it sales letter in the info marketing world.  It can be a video, a regular letter or even a PDF.

You should keep this simple too as there is no such thing as a perfect sales letter.

One of the mistakes that I notice people make on their sales letter is to spend too much time talking about themselves and the personal story.

sales letterYES! Personal story has a place in a sales presentaion but…

The human attention span is waaayyyy too short so you need to get through your story and credentials as fast as you can so you can get to:

  • The Benefit
  • The Risk Reversal
  • The Urgency and Scarcity

…and whatever other elements you need in the sales letter.  I will not cover sales letter in this post.  I was getting EXCITED over there.

4. A Lead Magnet

You CANNOT just pull people out of there world on social media on to a sales letter.

  • They don’t know you.
  • Trusting you is irrelevant.
  • Liking you is totally not in radar.

They are not, on more than average, going to buy from you yet.  Normal human behavior is to not buy or join on first exposure.

There is nothing strange about that.

As a matter of fact, prepare your campaigns for that.

You need to warm them up.  That’s partly the job of a lead magnet.  This will allow you to embed a automatic follow up into your campaign.

A lead magnet is something of value that can be exchanged for your prospect email address.  It is also something of value that can enhance their business and life absolutely for free.

“You want this information, dont you?”

“YES”

“Great, give me your email address so I can send it to you.  PLUS, I will send you more related valuable info later on how I can earn your business.

Make sense?  Cool.  Isn’t that simple?

5.  A Value Blogpost.

Last but not least, you need to have a blogpost or any type of webpage with a valuable information completely for free–kind of like this one you are reading.

It needs to be accessible even if they chose not to give you their email address on an optin form.

The content needs to be a piece of really good and quality information that can go viral on its own because it’s just that good.

An example for you as a network marketer is a blogpost on leadership tips.  What about prospecting tips?

If they offer training in your network marketing company, your notes are worth million dollars in value for the world and most importantly, your best prospects…

But on one condition…

YOU have to become the leader to re-express this value to the world in your own way.

If you can put this 5 things in place consistently over time, by default you are the leader that everyone is looking to join.

Why?

You are because this type of activity is directly proportional to the value you are adding to the world.

You can re-use the content you create over and over.  You can re-purpose for different type of media form; a book, a podcast, a Youtube channel, a PDF, a keynote presentation and much more..

YOU can do it just like the leaders and achievers of the world.

You are good to go.  Next time you want to deploy a campaign use this checklist to ensure that:

You are  the leader

You are have some value to sell

You are prequalifying

And you are adding massive value to your world.
