If you want more clients, customer, leads and quality traffic, pay attention to every word in this episode.
As usual, success in the game of entrepreneurship is a product of 80% mindset and 20% skill set.
Anyone can pick up a mouse and a keyboard and market on Facebook and other social media platforms.
But it takes a certain type of mindset to navigate through the ups and downs of marketing and getting clients consistently.
Speaking of consistency, consistency is the single most important factor that creates success in getting new clients to your business.
I want to share 4 C’s with you that you must master.
- Consistency
- Challenge
- Comfort
- Complacency
CONSISTENCY – It’s one of the hardest things for us as humans.
We love varieties just as much as we love certainty.
Both of them are 2 core needs of every human being.
But we pay attention to certainty and consistency when it comes to our desired results.
In order to create consistent results and certainty, we need to be consistent in our efforts and inputs.
And like I said, that’s a very hard thing for humans.
Therefore I suggest that you position yourself for consistency.
There is gross assumption by most people that they can be consistent without help.
Yet, most people will continue to fall short and fall into COMPLACENCY every now and then.
It’s normal.
That’s why I don’t suggest consistency; rather I suggest positioning for consistency.
It’s better to assume that you will naturally not show up every time but put yourself in a position to make it easy to put in effort consistently.
Sure, a CHALLENGE on your status quo and limits is good every now and then for your marketing and sales effort.
Increasing the weight you lift is good every now and then to stretch your limits.
But me mindful of what might just be a weakness and not focusing your energy on it..
In 2014, I wanted to get more clients for my business.
I over-leveraged and almost wipe out my business.
For example, be aware of your marketing budget and limit and don’t stretch beyond your limits as that can wipe out your business.
But it’s ok if you have months that you want to use as challenge to stretch your limits on marketing budget.
If you make that a repetitive habit, you will soon run our of money.
However I want you to be mindful that reps (repetitions and consistency) are much more important than breaking your arm with a dumbbell that’s beyond your limits.
Find a range where your marketing budget and resources are COMFORTABLE and beat all your competitors at CONSISTENCY.
That’s the key.
Just make sure you have momentum because if your operation is too slow, it will leave room for complacency and you will quit.
This is true in any type of business, personal training, consulting business, online marketing, network marketing, real estate.
If you need a marketing agency to keep consistency in getting new clients a priority, then do it as long as it’s within defined limits.
Novices and inexperienced people do not have defined limits in their marketing budget… both in time, money and energy.
Professionals understand that as much there are unlimited resources, one can get stupid and create limited access to needed resources.
