Most people joined this business, obviously because they want a side income. They want a little bit of endeavor on the side that can bring in some income into the family.
The statistics show that most people would be happier if they just had an extra $500 coming into their household per month in the short term. But lately I’ve been finding that a lot of people are very interested in long term.
What does it look like long term when you join a network marketing business? How does network marketing work long term towards the financial health of your family.
That’s something that I wanted to share with you. Over the past few weeks, I’ve seen a few things happen back and forth. I’ve seen a lot of emotions around the online network marketing community.
I have a few insights about what I’ve seen and I wanted to share that with you, just so you can know exactly what you’re dealing with when you decide to build a business around a network marketing business model.
I’ve noticed that a few brand new companies have come on the scene. Brand new companies. There’s a Forex MLM, there’s another MLM that sells solar energy power to homes. There’s another one that sells alkaline water machine; water filter machine.
Many of them have different claims. Some of them claim they’ve been around for 40 years. I don’t necessarily know if they’ve been operating in the MLM industry for 40 years. I don’t know how much that’s going to mean when it comes to the future of the business.

Some of them claim that they’re going to be paying 20 years of residual income guaranteed. I’m here to share with you the truth of these kind of claims long term. I’ve been around for quite a few years.
Specifically the network marketing business model, I’ve been around for about 6 years now. I’ve been around home business longer generally longer though. So let me tell you something.
This is a profession where you build yourself more than anything else. You get to build yourself. You’re going to build some cash. But as far as long term wealth building, network marketing is not enough for that, and here’s why.
I tell you. Some of the top earners and legendary leaders that you may know today always get to a point where they just sell their stake. Why would they do that if it was long term?
Well if you asked “how does network marketing work in the long term?” there you have it.
It’s a stepping stone. It’s an entrepreneurial and leadership school. It’s something I want you to pay attention to if you’re a part of the audience here. I want you to pay attention to that.
It’s more for you to build yourself, build your leadership skills, build your marketing skills, build your networking skills and maybe build some cash.
There are other industries out there that are more built for wealth building, more than the network marketing industry. One of them being the real estate industry.
Oprah Winfrey says “she makes most of her money from broadcasting and gets to keep all of her money because of real estate.”
I want you to start paying attention to something like that when you start looking at a network marketing business model. You can actually raise a lot of money while you continue to learn and build yourself.
You can probably make a living too, but if you’re looking for long term wealth building, you will need a little bit more than that.
How does network marketing work? By you working very hard and ensure that you are learning along the way. If I were you, I’d take my skills outside of the niche eventually and build some real sustainable wealth.
