Who is Mo’Nique and What does this News about her has to do with business and marketing?

She is popular and oscar winning comedian who has taken to the road and the different media houses to ask her fans to boycott Netflix.

She claimed that she was offered $500,000 for a comedy special while her male contemporaries such Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle over $20 million.

She is accuses Netflix of sexism as well as racism because another female counterpart, Amy Schumer, who is white had been paid over $10 million.

Over the past few years, she had also accused the likes of Tyler Perry, Lee Daniels and Oprah Winfrey of being instrumental to being blackballed by Hollywood.

After watching Mo’Nique on Sway in the morning talking about this, I was able to detect some fundamental business and marketing concept. I have decided to share it with you in this video.
