Today I want to talk to you about MLM network marketing companies, leads, opportunities, and its number one secret sauce of success. It’s investing education, AKA training.
Let’s talk a little bit about the MLM network marketing profession in a different way. We get into this business, obviously, to make money, right?
Well when I got started, when I first decided to take on the MLM network marketing business model like a bull back in 2009, it was a little difficult for me because I was used to producing by myself.
I was used to going out there and making a killing by way of direct sales. When I did that for a few years before 2009, I did millions of dollars working all by myself.
I woke up to reality back in 2008 and 2009 due to the recession, and I knew that I had to do something a little bit different to bring a little bit more leverage into my business.

One of the things that I found in the game was that I started to pay attention to everything around me. So I started to notice that most of the people in network marketing were not making the money that are corresponding with the claims that I see out there on internet land.
Now I quickly realized that it’s not the fault of the profession itself. People get sold on the dream and they don’t necessarily want to do the work.
I’m not a big believer in just work, work, work, work. I believe that, naturally we’re already hard workers. It’s part of our lifestyle, even on a regular job.
I know that if we’re going to change anything about how things work, it’s going to have to be the leverage point and how much people are actually leveraging in the business.
The MLM network marketing companies have things in place. They have resources. They have tools. They have even training in place to help the average person in the business.
But then in the same breath they always introduce a fast start training. A fast start training is an easy way to say, “Hey, just follow these 3 steps, and you’ll make money immediately or make money as soon as possible.
Well, when people hear something like that they run with it. Then I quickly realized that this business is not something you can just jump in and then make money.
If you did, you would still have to get back around to learning, to mastering some marketing skills, to mastering also some prospective skills.
The MLM network marketing opportunity is an opportunity for leverage. It’s not an opportunity to escape work. It’s not an opportunity to escape the need for education.
