In this post, I want to share with you a simple marketing plan that I created for myself. This plan will increase your conversion dramatically.
With this, you do not need a BIG LIST. This is stealth stuff….
I am always in marketing mode. Even when I am supposed to be relaxing, I still bring a paper and a pen to avoid ticking off the wife so I can scribble stuff down.
… know what I mean…. You know what they say right… happy wife and happy life…
This is about lifestyle right…
This is how I’ve created many of the million dollar campaigns I’ve deployed in my career. By having a note and a pen as much I remember.
The Competitive Advantage in Traffic Evolution; Facebook Remarketing
Staying Competitive in Traffic & Lead Generation for your Business requires this information. When you are entering a new marketing era, it’s your job as a business owner to stay updated because humans evolve.
Also, how we respond to marketing and information in general evolves as well.
Let’s talk about Cold Traffic Vs Warm Traffic from Facebook Remarketing or Retargeting.
Back in the days, we used to be able to drive cold traffic to a lead capture page and generate quality leads. It’s different these days and era.
You can still do that but most people that opts in to a page without knowing who you are already are low quality leads. In other words, they may never buy from you or your ad campaigns will take way too long to break even on your marketing cost.
Thanks to Remarketing on Platforms like Facebook and YouTube and other…
…that problem is solved.
So here is the plan.
Today you need to have a product or service in place to add value to your target market. The plan is to give some type of information value to vistors first via a blog post.
You need to prove that you can help your target market first on the blog post by actually helping them first without asking for anything.
Turning Cold Suspect Traffic to Hot Prospect
As for your goal as a marketer, you want to build a highly responsive audience right?
Great!
Facebook has a way of tracking people that come to that blogpost or piece of FREE content.
What Facebook does is give you a little code called a Facebook Remarketing Pixel. The pixel sends Facebook a message identifying every new visitor to that blog post.
You can build different Facebook remarketing audiences corresponding to different blog posts and webpages. It’s almost as good as building a list in a traditional autoresponder.

See…
On Facebook, how we market on their is called interrupt marketing. People are hanging out on Facebook as they do at a cock tail parties. You really don’t want to be that guy.
- That same guy that comes to the barbecue to pitch his business opportunity.
- That same lady that goes to every meetup network event to pitch her services.
No one likes that person. Worse is that it’s totally a non-efficient and non-effective way to bring massive value to the world in exchange for the lifestyle you want.
People go on Facebook to socialize. Therefore your interrupt marketing needs to do a good job piquing interests with high value ads and headlines for your targeted audience to see.
So the plan is to send cold traffic to a blog post that is ‘pixeled’ so that Facebook can build that audience for you. Not to mention that Facebook will fall in love with your content because you are not just another spammer.
TIP: Anytime you want advertise on a platform, keep in mind to be the marketer that brings value to the community as opposed to spamming.
The beautiful thing is that Facebook allows you to market a lead magnet to the visitors later if they didn’t grab in the call to action at the end of the content.
A lead magnet is some type of value that’s gated. What that means is that it’s behind closed door and someone has to exchange contact information to access it.
Those who are already exposed to your expertise value and your brand won’t mind exchanging email address on a lead capture page for even more value. Here are some of the easiest things (lead magnets) to give away as people gladly give you their email in exchange.
Templates are good and has high perceived value. It’s like an outline on excel sheet of how you execute.
Also, you can give away swipes. Email swipes are different email structures that we use to drive revenue as marketers. Think of what different type of swipes that your target market will find valuable.
Anything that makes the life of you targeted audience easier is key to remember. You can also give away free content or how-to videos.
For example, in our funnel here we have 3 free videos with pure valuable content (3 hours) and 3 accompanying action guide PDFs that we give away for free to those that are serious about simple online marketing for their business.
What I won’t do is assume that people want this stuff. I want them to prove it me by consuming a simple blog post of interest first. When you look at it close, I am proving to them that I’m the guy (the expert) by actually helping them first.
Again, they have to be warmed up because it makes your conversion a lot more easier because they are already sold on you as an expert and a brand.
At the end of the blogpost is a call to action that can help you generate leads for your business. Even though, they may not download it right there in time; Facebook allows you to remarket a reminder to them.
Something as simple as:
“Hey, you forgot to download the template I was giving away on the blogpost. Thanks for stopping by.”
You are authentically reminding them after actually helping them first.
Here is the Targeting Plan for your Value Piece of FREE Content
We also have this blog you are on right now with 3 category as seen on this blog. If you notice, there is no “make money” category.
People already know they want to make money. If someone doesn’t know they want more money already, we don’t spend energy and/or resources on attracting them.
Those are the categories of the 3 things people are looking to achieve in our targeting plan. You may choose a different targeting plan but it needs to identified.
What your target audience has to do step-by-step to get to their desired result where your value comes in. That is a great way to organize your content over time.
Here is the Remarketing/Retargeting Plan
What you see in the figure below is our remarketing/retargeting plan. Like i said earlier, Facebook allows you to build an audience of people that comes to a page or blog post.
When you see V1, V2, V3 etc, those are actual page identifiers in our funnel. I am able to design and deploy campaigns based on where people are in the funnel process and experience.
The congruence and contingency in what I am sharing with you is key to massive conversion my friend. This whole process needs to be ‘strategized’.
V1-V2 means include everyone that visits page V1 and exclude V2 visitors.
With us be empowered with that information, we can now market webpage/content V2 to this custom audience. They have seen V1 but they have not seen V2. I, as a marketer, obviously want the audience to see page V2.
A blog such as this one you are on allow us to be able to play with this dynamic marketing plan and attract massive profits while doing it. It’s really neat.
As you see on this plan, I have pages that help us indoctrinate our audience into our world. We have about 30 pages that we deploy for our campaigns. We continue to test and the cool thing is that you don’t need a big budget to do this.
For me personally, I am able to generate up to $25,000 per sale with this same strategy.
We are able to this because of strategic position in the market place. We take people through an experience as we solve their problem.
