On this segment, we are getting a little further into how to do network marketing.. PERIOD! It actually doesn’t matter if you are on Facebook, online, offline, recruiting on the internet, at Star Bucks or Walmart…
Network Marketing Recruiting like a PRO remains the same. You essentially have to be perceived by your prospects as a person with the value that they already want. It is simple but it can get complicated quickly without the right skills.
For example if you have to convince your prospects that they want your offer, you can still recruit them but it’s a lot more work. I personally hate engaging in that part of the work. I don’t do it because I don’t have to.
That brings me to #10 of how to do network marketing 2.0 recruiting
10. Audience & Influence Engineering – Success in the network marketing business comes down to this 2 things. If you can…
- grow you audience and
- grow your influence…
…you win the game.
Most people are not even aware of their level of influence. But let me keep it simple for you with this simple exercise.
Think about one of your Uncles right now. Got one?

In about 23 seconds, analyze this question.
Would your uncle trust you and invest $5,000 with you to build an $11,000 per month income business for him as a Director?
The answer to that question for you is an indication of your influence level.
There is a trust factor in it but there is also a relevance factor there. Your Uncle may trust you with other aspects of life but just not making money.
Quick tip on how to do network marketing on Facebook: When setting up ads on Facebook for your business, there is a metric called the relevance score and any ads below 5 in my campaigns gets paused. Testing.. testing and more testing…
An easy way to get your Uncle to trust you would be to go and make money first to the extent that it shows in your lifestyle.
“Is this one of those pyramid schemes” is a question that comes from not having influence. I personally never get that question because my business model only attracts more audience with the right influence.
The size of your audience is also an indicator of your influence level. If you want to grow your audience, give more value. If you want to grow your influence level, serve your audience over and over again.
But you can’t serve an audience without listening. This is a big characteristic missing in traditional network marketing. In that era, any and every one is a prospect–that burns your energy with the wrong people.
That’s why the profession is full of low quality entrepreneurs. That’s why people join your team but won’t build the business. That’s why 98% of the profession makes less than $10 per month.
With network marketing 2.0, you can say bye bye to those dreaded struggle.

But first, let’s go over who is and isn’t network marketing 2.0 for?

Note that network marketing 2.0 is not the elimination of work. It’s the elimination of unproductive and UN-enjoyable work in your methods of building the business.

- You are struggling and/or looking to go to the next level in your existing home business without stalking or bothering your loved ones.
- You are actively looking to build a profitable business from the comfort of your home-no weekly home and hotel meetings required.

The Old Traditional Network Marketing 1.0 Path – #1 Cause of Struggle.
These steps below are typical of an average network marketer’s journey. You may not be able to relate with all the steps but you can probably relate with some.
- You joined a business opportunity after an invitation from a close associate.
- You were told to make a list of your closed family and friends.
- You held a home meeting or PBR (private business reception).
- You invited 50 people to the meeting.
- 20 people confirmed that they will attend within 24 hours before the event.
- 4 people showed up and 2 of them joined the business if you are one of the lucky 10%–you are excited.
- After 2 days, 1 of them asked for her money back. That was my story.
- After another 3 days, 1 of them stopped picking up the phone. Ha ha ha.
- The last 2 always have 1 or 2 excuses why they can’t take the business serious ever. They are never straight forward with their story either.
- 6 months later, you find that people are avoiding you because they are feeling stalked… Oopz, you didn’t mean to do that right.
- More and more people kept saying ‘NO’ to joining you and you started to take an offense and hate on their decisions.
I guarantee that you can relate to at least 5 of those 11 stages if you’ve been in for more than 90 days. Thank God, you can now avoid the struggle.

No home and hotel meeting, no stalking family and friends, no phone prospecting necessary or required. Are you EXCITED!
- Growing your Audience – It’s involves getting web traffic and massive exposure for your value based brand. As I showed you earlier, thousands are on Google searching right now. Network marketing 2.0 attracts them to your business.
- Growing your Asset – This involves the building of an email list of only targeted and hungry prospects–Asset Building. The list, the audience and the tribe that you build is an asset. It’s the most valuable asset right after your time.
- Growing your Influence – This is done by building relationship with your list by being a source of value. We call this building your relationship “EQUITY”. Remember that people only buy from and join people they “feel like” like the like, know and trust.
- Growing your Cash Flow – If you don’t grow your cash flow, you will be out of business soon. Network marketing 2.0 does that for you by monetizing your audience by strategically offering tools, value based products and strategic partnership that they already want to buy; they don’t just need them but actually want them.
- Last but not least, rinse & Repeat the 4 steps.
