I don’t know about you but the first time I realized that people actually take on network marketing jobs… as in day jobs from the corporate office, it was weird for me. I just wondered why they won’t want the business opportunity rather than the job.
Obviously, someone has to work at the offices, call centers etc. I get that part. But I was curious and I wanted to know what is going on in their heads.
How naive right? That’s what I was thinking.
I also realized at one point that they have strict rules about joining the opportunity for the employees. If I remember correctly, you could not join the opportunity until 6 months after leaving any of the network marketing jobs.
That’s one of the things that started to make me pay attention to ‘behind the scene’ real deal of the network marketing profession. I wanted to know more.
I don’t know if you are looking for network marketing jobs but if you are, consider this.
You don’t feel secured enough in just paying $275 to $40,000 to join the opportunity but you trust that bi-weekly paycheck. It’s security thing right?
At every events, you see them. They all get paid less than $100,000 per year working longer hours while the top earning reps makes a couple of million dollars in the field.
Why? What’s the logic behind that choice? These things are no secret either. They know what is going on but yet choose to go the network marketing jobs route for what? Security?
Here is the freakiest part…
I have seen top earners take on one of the corporate network marketing jobs in their own company after being in the field for years.
It is true that some do get offered some really attractive deal to come into the cubicles.

At the beginning of my journey as an entrepreneur, I thought it was all about working for yourself… PERIOD. It didn’t matter how much I was paid, I wanted freedom from all type of bosses.
But my perspective has changed. I’ve come to realize that it’s all relative. It really depends on individual goals and realizing that it’s all a journey and happiness is inside the journey.
I love network marketing but there are too many people treating it as a job anyway. People join and then hibernate for weeks in a row. People join then treat it like a hobby.
If you treat it like a hobby, it will pay you like a hobby. Can you relate? It’s little to no wonder why an average network marketer makes less than $10 per month.
I don’t blame them at all. It’s a simple business but entrepreneurship is hard. It’s not hard labor. It’s just hard to wake up and run a business on your own as you have faith in yourself.
So I don’t expect an average human being to be able to execute all the way when they get started in this journey. So as you can imagine, that leaves a lot of money on the table for us that have faith and never quits.
All these factors play a role why a person would want to leave free enterprise and take on a day job. It is what it is. It’s security and a lot of times, it’s because of things beyond what we can see.
Once you get to a level of maturity in entrepreneurship, you get to appreciate anything for what it is. Network marketing jobs are no different. They are essential in the profession.
Let’s be frank. Showmanship is a big part of the business. How you present your presentation is everything. Starting from your business presentation to the big 20,000 attendees events require showmanship.
Getting people to join your business becomes a lot more easier too if you can give your prospects an experience. In order to operate a network marketing company you need some full time workers on a payroll.
I just want to make it clear to you that network marketing jobs does not give you a ticket to success in network marketing as an independent rep. They are simply 2 different animals.
I’ve been privileged to watch businesses grown into a place where quite a few network marketing jobs got created. Isn’t it pretty cool that the profession and the business get to create jobs? It’s awesome.
It happens on a company level but it’s bigger than that. Top earners build their business to the level of hiring assistants, accountants, programmers, assitants and many other positions.
The network marketing community is a source of jobs for many people who may not be interested in free enterprise. That’s something we should all be proud of.
The global economy is in a very interesting place. We are seeing trends that has never been seen before. Freelance opportunities are showing up. “Overnight millionaires” are real.
There are not too many jobs being created here with the evaporation of jobs as we knew them. Therefore if you and I are blessed in a way that we can be a source of blessing to others by way of network marketing jobs that great.
Do you know what that means?
If you have it in you to become incredibly successful in network marketing, DO IT. You owe it to yourself, your family and the world. There is no greater feeling in the world than knowing that you impact others.
If you become another million dollar earner, it will create jobs for people with talents that are better displayed as employees. Ultimately, I think that network marketing jobs are a beautiful thing.
When I started as an entrepreneur, I used to be so passionate about the idea of ‘working for yourself’ and I forgot that the world economy revolved around the ultimate team work and a work force.
If you ever decide that you want to work in one of the positions that network marketing has to offer, I think it’s great. I still think it’s better to be an employer than an employee though.
It means more money which is the result of, more importantly, getting to serve more people.
You will also be able to understand from a corporate stand point how much the industry contributes to the global economy. You may end up acquiring a whole new level of appreciation for building a team in the field.
So my twisted thoughts around network marketing jobs has added a whole new level of realness to the network marketing profession. You should feel proud being exposed to the profession.
